 To operate and control process equipment and systems needed to produce mixes, blends, and repacks.

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent is required. Technical School training or additional Bio-works is preferred. Chemical processing experience is preferred.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

•Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform simple mathematical calculations
•Ability to read and accurately interrupt instructions from operational manuals
•Effective verbal and written communications skills
•Strong interpersonal skills with a desire to drive results
•Ability to work with a team and individually
•Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
•Ability to operate and effectively use equipment such as forklift

WORKING CONDITIONS: Fast paced bio-chemical/chemical manufacturing environment working inside and outside. This position may perform activities in an environment that contains hazardous elements and requires safety awareness and adherence to all safety policies and guidelines. Work must be performed in a safe manner for personal protection and for the protection of other team members. All safety procedures, procedures described in SOPs, BPRs, and support the compliance of applicable ISO standards in all functional areas must be followed, enforced, and strictly complied with.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Position requires the ability to stand and walk for a minimum of 3 hours a day; lifting or carrying up to 50 pounds occasionally and repetitive use of hands, arms, and legs.

•Operate various drum manipulators to lift, dump, or move product drums within the production
•Operate the handheld scanner and preweigh computer
•Operate and inspect forklifts within the Production environment
•Inspect and store packaging material inside the Cleanroom environment
•Clean and sanitize the Cleanroom environment
•Set up and disassemble cloth chutes and Mixer charging adapter
•Clean cloth chutes and SS equipment and tools
•Pass and Receive material in and out of the Cleanroom environment
•Package, re-package, and re-drum mixes or individual amino acids
•Seal and palletize final product drums and store in designated area
•Record process data in accordance with cGMP requirements using the proper record keeping system
•Monitor and record Cleanroom environment conditions such as temperature, humidity, and pressure
•Remove trash generated during preweigh and Repack operations
•Collaborate with team members to keep Mixing and Packaging areas neat, organized, and clean
