Overview

Grow and maintain sales within the territory by managing and maintaining customer relationships and key account management.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s in Life Science or Marketing, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field with 5+ years of sales or marketing experience preferably in a bio-pharmaceutical related field.

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Must be detailed oriented and analytical. Ability to work independently with little to no direction. Ability to prioritize work, multi-task, and adapt to changing priorities to achieve deadlines. Ability to demonstrate effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills to develop business relationships. Must be willing to communicate across department lines and work collaboratively in a team environment. Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint and SAP.

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements

WORKING CONDITIONS: This position requires traveling throughout the US and Europe to meet with key customers. Additional travel may be required globally to increase and build relationship with customers or affiliates.

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Position requires the ability to sit for 3-6 hours per day; stand, walk, bend over, and reach above head less than an hour a day; lifting or carrying up to 50 pounds occasionally, eye/hand coordination and repetitive use of hands/arms for writing and computer work. Frequent interaction and communication with internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

  • Clearly communicate company values and update clients on any new products, programs, or marketing initiatives.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts while seeking new opportunities (~100 non-key accounts). Prioritize, maintain and grow current key accounts (10-15 per representative).
  • Responsible for management of $50m sales targets from all accounts within the territory. Ability to understand client's needs and negotiate costs, services and contracts.
  • Develop annual plans, long range plans and sales forecasts for sales region or market.
  • Maintains and provides accurate pricing to customers. Proactively maintain communication channels with customers by phone, email, or face-to-face business review meetings Identify market trends, opportunities, and risks.
  • Monitors sales, net profit, and sales volume monthly, and implements countermeasures as needed, if a gap in budget performance occurs. Collaborate with internal partners (Supply Chain, CSR, Quality and Regulatory Affairs) to expedite the workflow to meet the needs of the customer.

Salary Range

95000-115000
