Overview

Responsible for responding to customer requests for product documentation, quality surveys and questionnaires. Involved in supporting new product commercialization and label creation.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Bachelor of Science degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Nutrition, Biological Sciences, or related fields strongly preferred.
• HACCP and/or PCQI certification preferred.
• Experience with USDA and/or FDA labeling regulations required.
• Experience with product lifecycle management software preferred.
• 2-3 years of experience in regulatory affairs/compliance or quality for a food manufacturer or distributor.

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
• Basic knowledge of food ingredients and quality systems preferred.
• Capability to understand food regulations (USDA, FDA).
• Able to proofread and check documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Demonstrated ability to work well independently with minimal supervision; actively seeks guidance when needed to maintain progress on assignments and deliver accurate information.
• Strong time management skills; able to advance and monitor progress on multiple requests simultaneously.
• Excellent computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Office programs; able to manage web sites with guidance: experience with PLM systems preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
• Experience in providing customer service

 

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements

WORKING CONDITIONS:
• General personal protective equipment when in the laboratory area.
• Occasional personal vehicle/rental car use
• General office equipment

 

Responsibilities

• Customer documentation requests
• Works collaboratively with technical, quality assurance, manufacturing, and customer service teams to complete customer surveys/questionnaires.
• Share quality and regulatory documents to standard customer inquiries, coordinate response to non-standard inquires and requests.
• Populate quality related documents on TraceGains and similar sites (e.g., FoodLogiQ, SafetyChain, etc.)
• Document coordination
• Maintain quality and regulatory documents (technical data packets); create and revise documents when deemed necessary; retain documents in a server that is accessible to technical, regulatory, product managers, quality assurance and customer service.
• Track customer surveys and document request completion dates for traceability and customer satisfaction analytics.
• Stakeholder support
• Work collaboratively with local/international technical, regulatory, QA, product managers and
• customer service teams to complete customer surveys or quality document requests in a timely fashion to support AHN sales team.
• Supports the training of sales, technical, customer service and other groups as needed, on the systems and processes for providing quality documentation to customer.
• D. Project support
• Support special projects as assigned by manager or senior management as needed.
• ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Other duties as assigned.

 

Salary Range

We have budgeted an amount of 70-75K for this open role.
