The site supervisor oversees all activities for the Brockton operation ensuring safety and compliance, managing personnel, and coordinating resources to meet daily production targets in the areas of Safety, Quality, Productivity, Supply Chain, Cost and Team Development. The incumbent will act as liaison between the plant and other operational functions such as safety, supply chain, engineering, logistics and quality. They are responsible for the day-to-day operation and execution of manufacturing and packaging orders. Champions change management and actively look for opportunities to identify and implement improvements. Critical in this role is the execution of continuous improvement projects involved in the manufacturing and packaging of low-protein foods (ie.- frozen, dry-powders).
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Technical School or college degree preferred.
• 3+ years’ supervisory experience working in a food or beverage manufacturing environment; Knowledge of bakery equipment, processes and procedures preferred.
• Demonstrated people leadership experience.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001, HACCP, Food Safety, and OSHA protocols required.
• Strong mathematics skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of whole numbers and fractions.
• Excellent organizational skills with strong detail orientation.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint) required.
• Strong work ethic demonstrated through reliable attendance, punctuality, and flexibility.
• Proven understanding of inventory control.
• Working experience with lot tracking, ingredient weight measurements, and process control.

WORKING CONDITIONS: This position works in a food manufacturing environment and requires the ability to adhere to all GMP, Food Safety, workplace safety and security policies including wearing required personal protective equipment, as well hair net, beard net, etc. as required. While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts. The employee occasionally works in outside weather conditions and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes, or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, extreme cold, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud requiring the use of hearing protection.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Stand, walk on concrete floors up to 8 hours a day.
• Bend, reach, push, and pull, performing repetitive motions.
• Must be able to wear all personal protective equipment as outlined in Quality and Safety policies.

• Resource Management: overseeing budgets, managing inventory, and allocating resources effectively to meet daily production schedule and other site activities.
• Schedules production and assigns production crew to meet daily production demand.
• Plans, delegates, and monitors progress on work assignments and continuous improvement projects.
• Plans, leads, and directs production operation activities on the shift and provides guidance, direction, and feedback to employees.
• Collaborates with Supply Chain team to ensure sundry items used in production are ordered and available.
• Ensures accurate and timely employee timekeeping and PTO planning assure adequate coverage.
• Ensures quality production of products in compliance with Ajinomoto Cambrooke, Federal and State guidelines.
• Ensures regulatory compliance with OSHA, EPA, FDA, USDA, and HACCP as well as company GPMs.
• Oversees all processes on the shift and activities including kitting, batching, processing, packaging, and sanitation.
• Implements Lean manufacturing projects (i.e.- 5s) and maximize productivity and improve costs.
• Uses Key Performance Indicators daily to track results and implement PDCA activities.
