Overview

Responsible for managing day-to-day operations of human resources.  Will act as a strategic advisor, aligning HR initiatives with overall business objectives by working with senior leadership, managing employee relations, and implementing HR policies. Key responsibilities include workforce planning, talent management, improving the employee experience and culture, and providing consultation to management on various HR-related matters like performance, recruitment, and compliance. 

Qualifications

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, business, communications, or other related discipline preferred
  • 3+ years' experience working in Human Resources with recruitment, on-boarding.
  • UKG and manufacturing company experience preferred

• Ability to communicate, receive, and transfer written and oral information effectively.
• Strong understanding of the organization's strategy, financial position, market trends, and competition.
• Ability to lead and manage organizational changes and help employees adapt.
• Ability to work under stressful, highly confidential conditions.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality, including employee PHI and PII.
• Knowledge and understanding of state, federal and local employment laws.
• Capacity to translate business requirements into practical HR solutions.
• Detailed oriented and excellent organization skills.
• Strong communication skills with proven ability to prioritize and execute time sensitive tasks.
• Skilled at resolving complex employee relations issues and addressing organizational challenges while offering excellent customer service.
• Ability to prioritize work, multi-task and adapt to change.
• Proficiency in using data and software tools to gather insights and inform decision-making.

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements

Typical office environment working inside a controlled temperature environment.
Occasional work required outside.
This position may perform activities in an environment that contains hazardous elements and requires safety awareness and adherence to all safety policies and guidelines.
Work must be performed in a safe manner for personal protection and for the protection of other team members.

 

 

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Characterized as sedentary work.
  • Job demands may require long periods of sitting; telephone work and/or computer work as well as interactions with other employees, etc.
  • Stand, walk, bend over, and reach above head.
  • Ability to lift or carrying up to 25 pounds occasionally.
  • Repetitive use of hands/arms for writing and computer work.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor and partner to business leaders, providing advice, guidance, and support on all HR matters, including employee relations, talent management, performance management, and compensation. This role will collaborate with leaders to develop strategies that support and rive business goals.
• Develop and implement HR policies and programs in line with company goals, labor laws, and industry best practices.
• Serve as a consultant and coach to managers and leaders, providing guidance on performance management, career development, and other HR topics influencing relationships between management and employees
• Oversee talent acquisition, identify skill gaps, and implement workforce plans that align with the company's future needs. Full cycle recruiting and Onboarding.
• Help shape and implement organizational structures and lead change management initiatives to adapt to business needs.
• Analyze performance metrics and workforce data to identify trends, evaluate effectiveness, and make data-driven decisions.
• Coordinate employee payroll related data for bi-weekly payroll.
• Ownership of employee file digital transformation
• Participate on project teams supporting implementation of HR programs and initiatives.
• Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.
• Interprets and ensures consistent application of Ajinomoto workplace policies
• Performs any other duties as deemed necessary or appropriate.

Salary Range

$70,000.00 - $80,000.00 annually
