The Senior Account Executive, Sales is responsible for managing and developing new opportunities with both new and existing customers within the food and beverage markets. This role involves building strong relationships, understanding customer needs, and delivering tailored solutions to drive sales growth. The Senior Account Executive will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and achieve business objectives. Key responsibilities include identifying potential clients, negotiating contracts, and providing exceptional customer service. This position requires an initiative-taking and strategic approach to sales, with a focus on achieving targets, and expanding market share.
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s in Business, Food Science, or a Marketing related field.
10+ years of strategic business and marketing experience with large Food and Beverage CPG companies.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
• Develops and executes overall business strategy and implementation of Account Plans.
• Reviews and analyzes markets, and coordinates with sales, operations, and production departments to implement such needs into our products.
• Assesses strengths and weaknesses of external and internal environment, collects information and analyzes results of marketing research by utilizing marketing theory.
• Establishes marketing plans based on the following factors and forecast of mid-term market changes: direction of marketing, customer management (RF Analysis Model), advertising, sales promotion plan, costs (production, sales, and marketing)
• Responsible for establishing and achieving the budget and sales volume plans.
• Reviews budgets by establishing and implementing short and long-term plans together with teams in US and Japan.
• Monitors sales, net profit and sales volume monthly, and implement countermeasures as needed, if a gap in budget performance occurs.
• Creating Strategic Account Plans
• Qualifies and quantifies opportunities by product category for growth at customer targets.
• Engages cross functional team for collaboration on quantifying usage rates by applications to prepare financial projections and forecasts effectively.
• Responsible for personnel development within a team and achieves organizational goals by energizing and inspiring the whole unit.
• Maintains a professional and positive influence on others.
• Provides appropriate OJT/Off-JT training to members and develop them by assigning them to appropriate jobs based on their capabilities and experiences.
• Develops managers as successors through dialogue, coaching, guidance and feedback.
• Seek continuous self-improvement through education and experience.
