The Continuous Improvement Specialist will lead and implement strategic initiatives that drive operational excellence across the organization. This role combines Lean Six Sigma methodologies with Engineering, Data Science, and/or AI for process optimization to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. This role is embedded within a broader Operational Excellence (OE) and Digital Transformation (DX) inititative. The position supports initiatives such as:
Company-wide OE/DX programs with dedicated Greenbelt and Yellowbelt roles.
AI integration into business processes to enhance job effectiveness and growth.
Leadership workshops to instill OE culture across departments.
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
• Lean Six Sigma Greenbelt certification (Blackbelt preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in process improvement, manufacturing operations, engineering, or digital transformation.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
• Proven experience applying AI or automation tools in operational settings.
• Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
• Lead cross-functional improvement projects using Lean Six Sigma tools (DMAIC, PDCA) and AI technologies (e.g., predictive analytics, automation).
• Analyze operational data to identify inefficiencies and recommend solutions for process optimization.
• Mentor and train Greenbelt and Yellow belt team members, supporting their development and project execution.
• Collaborate with DX and OE teams to integrate continuous improvement into digital transformation strategies.
• Develop and monitor KPIs to measure the impact of improvement initiatives and ensure sustainability.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement through workshops, internal communications, and leadership engagement.
